The logo, and what it means.

At the center is the cross, representing Christ as the foundation of everything the organization stands for.

The gold roots at the cross, in the innermost shape and filled solid. That is where the work starts too, and it is small on purpose: one church, one person who heard about it and came. Nothing on this board begins any larger than that.

The rings carry out from the center the way a signal does. They break at four points so the cross passes through, and the break is the whole idea: faith is not meant to stay contained, but to move outward through service, fellowship, generosity, and good works.

It is light as much as it is signal. Jesus said “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12), and then said the same thing of the people following Him: “You are the light of the world,” and let it shine “before others, that they may see your good deeds” (Matthew 5:14, 16). The cross at the center is where the light comes from. The rings are it going out, and gold is what that looks like on a page.

The shape follows Acts 1:8, where Jesus tells His followers they will be His witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” They begin in the city they are standing in, and move out from there in widening circles. That is the order the rings arrive in on this site, and it is the order the work happens in: the first circle is the Triangle, where we are now. The rings are the hope that it does not end there.

Gold is not decoration here. Through scripture it marks what is set apart for God and what outlasts everything around it. The ark and the lampstand in the tabernacle were overlaid with it. When John is shown the city that is coming, he writes that its great street was “of gold, as pure as transparent glass” (Revelation 21:21).

It is also the thing faith gets measured against, and found worth more than. Peter writes of faith as “of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire” (1 Peter 1:7). So the gold points two directions at once: at what this work is finally for, and at the fact that the work itself matters more than the metal it is drawn in.

The clean J217 wordmark keeps the identity modern and memorable while directly tying the organization to James 2:17, the verse that inspires it: faith must be lived out.

The phrase reinforces that message in a direct, accessible way.
